Robust new common rail pressure transmitters from Danfoss
Danfoss has launched its new MBS 6100 series of common rail pressure transmitters, designed specifically for large diesel engines.
Recent years have seen a growing need for new diesel engines that can meet new emission legislation, especially from the EU and North America. As a vital part of the common rail injection system, the MBS 6100 series facilitates improved emission control, greater efficiency, reduced noise levels and stronger performance. Designed to withstand the harsh marine environment, the MBS 6100 series is especially resistant to shock and vibration, measured according to current international standards.
The MBS 6100 is built using micro-fusing technology for stable zero point and span performance over a wide range of temperatures. This means Danfoss can integrate heavy-duty diaphragms into the pressure port without any welding on pressure-sensitive areas. And because it is constructed from one-piece of hardened steel, the pressure port can withstand millions of high-pressure cycles and a very high static pressure without any zero deviations.
Additionally, the transmitter is available with a variety of electrical and pressure connections making it one of the most flexible transmitters on the market.
