Vacuum therapy is a technique that shapes the body by encouraging the breakdown of fats and the removal of excess fluids and toxins. During treatment, a suction instrument gently massages the patient to stimulate blood circulation and lymphatic drainage. Vacuum therapy is also a successful method for treating connective tissue disorders.
So how does a vacuum therapy system work? The machine contains a pump that creates a vacuum. Four solenoid valves in parallel connection regulate the pump pressure. The flow controls can be adjusted to produce nine different levels of suction, giving a stimulating vacuum massage at a frequency of 1Hz, or one cycle per second. But if the valves leak, the vacuum pressure is affected, which can be dangerous for patients.
