New Danfoss pressure transmitter makes for safe performance

24 January 2008
Danfoss’ MBS 1250 is a new series of hydraulic pressure transmitters, developed specifically for heavy-duty applications. The combination of proven design and safety features makes the MBS 1250 the best choice for controlling heavy-duty industrial processes.

Reliability and accuracy when the going gets rough

The robust and thoroughly proven design of the MBS 1250 guarantees safe, reliable performance – even under extreme pressure. Day in and day out, the MBS 1250 successfully meets the ever-increasing challenges encountered in agriculture, forestry, mining, material handling and construction.

Designed to meet the most stringent requirements, the compact MBS 1250 pressure transmitter is fitted with an integrated pulse-snubber to prevent dangerous cavitations and liquid hammer at the diaphragm. In addition, the carefully thought-out design offers excellent vibration stability and EMI protection up to 100 V/m.

As off-highway jobs often imply rough conditions, the pressure transmitter has specially designed features that include:

  • A tight enclosure to efficiently protect against moisture caused by fluctuating temperatures.
  • Wetted stainless steel parts that guarantee long-term stability and highly reliable operations in ambient temperatures up to 125° C.
Building highway bridge
In short, Danfoss‘ MBS 1250 hydraulic pressure transmitter for heavy-duty applications keeps industrial processes under control. Thanks to high accuracy, you need never worry about safety when a job takes you off-highway.

In addition to the MBS 1250, Danfoss Industrial Automation offers an impressive range of sensors, industrial valves, and pressure and temperature switches. Our highly reliable and robust hydraulic solutions are based on 50 years of experience within the field, ensuring state-of-the-art components for monitoring and controls systems.
