Danfoss offers unique value to the compressed air market

At Danfoss North America, the air systems business area has recently turned its attention to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and system integrator customers of all sizes. This segment has great potential for Danfoss as we are one of the few suppliers with an extensive support network offering full service to customers, and the most comprehensive choice in products.

Location and size is no barrier

Danfoss’ broad product portfolio for compressed air systems includes:


  • electro-mechanical temperature and pressure controls
  • solenoid valves
  • electronic temperature and pressure sensors
  • variable speed drives
  • heat exchangers
  • refrigerant compressors, and
  • controls for air driers

The North American air systems market has a large number of OEM manufacturers and integrators of complete air systems (compression, air treatment and distribution equipment). These businesses vary in size and are dispersed over the entire region, which means that a large segment of them are often overlooked by typical suppliers.

The Danfoss sales and marketing team have identified this group as a valuable customer segment. With our extensive product range and application expertise, plus a direct sales force backed up by a comprehensive network of manufacturer’s representatives throughout the North American region, Danfoss provides unparalleled value.

George Snyder, a Danfoss sales representative from Techmark International, has first hand experience with this unique situation. “I’m able to justify direct customer contact and support to businesses that normally purchase only through distribution. In fact some of the smaller compressor OEMs are surprised that we’re willing and able to visit with them, view their operations, and get involved with their product designs.”
