Aim for new markets with an outstandingly extended operating envelope
When comparing heat pump with gas or oil furnace, the annual energy bill for space heating or Hot Sanitary Water (HSW) production shows a huge difference. For a 50 rooms hotel application, the heat pump system can reduce the operating cost by 50% compared to the alternate furnace solutions. One limitation for the commercial heat pump was, until now, the restricted operating temperature range. Heat pumps were not able to run at high condensing temperature (up to 65°C) for HSW or space heating in retrofit (with old radiator systems) while evaporating very low (down to -20°C) as is usually the case in cold countries.
The Performer® PSH compressor has liquid injection technology and therefore an increased operating envelop. This means that it can reach -20°C saturated evaporating temperature for 65°C saturated condensing temperature. The only extra device needed is a liquid pipe.

The Performer® PSH complies with your customers’ requirements as well as the legislations when it comes to the noise level. The compressor has in average 3dBa lower noise level than equivalent products. This is partly obtained by the use of patented integrated crankcase heater (SSH) together with its’ insulation. This feature is standard on the PSH and the compressor will be delivered with the component mounted.
