Household Refrigeration

Leading the Field in Household Refrigeration

With more than 50 years of developing technologies for household refrigeration appliances, we continue to help companies speed innovation to market.

Danfoss components for household refrigeration are engineered for advanced temperature control, extended compressor life, energy efficiency and environmental responsibility, ultimately providing higher value for consumers.

As specialists within household refrigeration, Danfoss brings uniqueness to development. A large critical mass in R&D speeds innovation and frequently opens up opportunities for early entry into emerging technologies such as electronically controlled appliances.

Our second contribution to household refrigeration customer profitability is our efforts in bringing down the cost of manufacturing and optimizing logistical links between us and the customer. Indeed, we have refined our business practices to a point where we can meet our household refrigeration customers' demand for just-in-time deliveries wherever they may be in the world.

Products for Household Refrigeration:
VLT Low Harmonic Drives

VLT® Low Harmonic Drives

Where the performance of other low harmonic technologies depends of stability and load or effect the controlled motor, the new Danfoss Low Harmonic drives continuously regulate the network and load conditions without affecting the connected motor.

The new VLT Low Harmonic Drives cause no increased winding stress or reduction of the bearing lifetime.

The VLT Low Harmonic Drives meet the toughest harmonic recommendations and give the user full readout of the unit performance towards the grid including graphical overview of grid behaviour.
