The new intelligent VLT® Soft Starter MCD 500

The Danfoss VLT Soft Starter MCD 500 is a new soft starter in the power range from 7.5 to 800 kW (21 - 1600 A) with sofisticated start- and stopfunctions. 

New in the MCD 500 is the Adaptive Acceleration Control (AAC) function. This function developed by Danfoss adds intelligence to the soft starter. By continuously measuring the motor current and calculating the actual load, the MCD 500 fully automatically adjusts the start and stop profiles to obtain the best possible acceleration and decelaration for your application.
