An Associated company is a company in which the Danfoss Company (investor) has significant influence and which is neither a subsidiary nor a joint venture.

Significant influence is the power to participate in the financial and operating policy decisions of the company but is not control over those policies.

Typically significant influence is present when one holds/controls 20-50% of the voting power of a company/business.

Danfoss Universe

Getting smart – naturally. Danfoss Universe is a science and adventure park full of inspiring technology, exciting machines and fun activities. The park is based in Nordborg in southwest Denmark right next to Danfoss headquarters. Here the whole family can spend an entertaining day enjoying and learning about the wonderful world of science. The activities in the park are based on refrigeration, heat, and movement and are an entertaining version of the techniques used in the production at Danfoss. The purpose of the park is to spur on children’s and young people’s enthusiasm and interest in technology and science. Danfoss Universe is owned by The Bitten and Mads Clausen Foundation.
