>Home >Business Areas >VLT® Drives Danfoss wins Brazilian innovation award at water treatment trade show03 September 2007 The 18th annual National Expo of Equipment for Water & Wastewater (FENASAN in Portuguese, Brazil’s most important event in the industry for water & wastewater) in São Paulo, Brazil, August 7 - 9, was a major success for Danfoss. Danfoss participated for the first time in this trade show, as part of its strategy to launch the VLT® AQUA Drive, and won the prize for Technological Innovation.
The stand demonstrated a VLT® AQUA Drive under a shower of water. This demonstrated how the IP66 enclosure ensures the integrity of the internal components when exposed to dust and water jets, common occurrences in water treatment plants.
