Control valves

300.000 tons of CO2 are saved per year through the 1.4 million pressure independent control valves that are currently installed in buildings. However, today these kind of valves only cover 5% of the total market. 6 million tons of CO2 could be saved per year by fully utilizing the potenial of pressure independent control valves1.
Pressure independent control valves save energy in buildings by ensuring the right flow through the cooling and heating systems. Danfoss was the first company to introduce this kind of valve and currently has a market share of 65-70%. Our AB-QM control valves help save energy by always ensuring the right flow though the systems. They also reduce costs as fewer products and calculations are required and improve comfort as they allow the whole system to react flexibly and efficiently to changes of outside temperature and to individual requirements.

The pay-back time typically varies from 6 months to 6 years depending on the application.
