CO

Emission of Greenhouse gases is an increasing problem for the Earth’s climate. One of the biggest polluters among Greenhouse gases is CO
2
, which comes mainly from the energy production and stands for the main part of the emissions. Another significant contributor to the Global Warming is synthetic refrigerants, such as CFC, HCFC or HFC.
Development and production of the equipment that would help to reduce the emissions of Greenhouse gases is one of Danfoss’ core competences. The Danfoss product range covers both energy efficient components and systems, equipment which enables reduction of energy consumption and refrigeration components for alternative low GWP (global warming potential) refrigerants, CO
2
being one of these.
