Great design reduces operational costs
While the unique ERC series shares a number of qualities, easy programming and installation, the two new controllers each have their own niche. A multi-purpose electronic parametric controller, the ERC 101 has three password-protected user levels to control more than 100 different parameters to accommodate individual customer requirements. An online communication function, which combines a USB with Danfoss’ KoolProg software and remote access, means OEMs can configure and make parameter changes fast and effectively on behalf of customers.
Powered by a globally compatible, lightweight, switch mode power supply, the three-input relay control uses less power than an average controller. The modular design and wide application fit helps OEM’s reduce inventory costs significantly – and with only one Danfoss product code – inventory planning is simple. Because the ERC 101 has global approvals, it can be used anywhere in the world.
Modular design for extra flexibility
Extremely versatile, the ERC 103 can be used as an electronic stand-alone controller, or it can be integrated with a remote display or spindle. With input from multiple sensors, the cost-efficient controller saves energy by controlling the compressor, light, fan and defrost mechanism operations for optimum efficiency.
If your application requires a display or the option to manually change setpoints, the remote display (RDI 07) accessory is ideal. It makes it easy to read temperatures and offers user interaction, while maintaining the flexibility of a split system. Alternatively, the remote spindle accessory can be employed to give the look and feel of mechanical thermostats; an ideal solution for refurbished units and commercial refrigeration equipment.
