ARBS2008 (Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Building Services) Exhibition

Wednesday, 21 May 2008
6,750 visitors attended the ARBS2008 exhibition held in Melbourne during 21 – 23 April, which represented a 26% increase on the previous ARBS exhibition held in Melbourne in 2004; a very pleasing result for the 230+ exhibitors.
The Danfoss stand, located just inside the main entrance of the exhibition, showcased a vast range of new and innovative products currently available or soon to be introduced into the Australian market place.  A “live” display board featured the Danfoss ADAP-KOOL® Next Generation product range; a “total store” solution designed specifically to maximise energy savings, reduce food loss and increase food quality.  Another main feature of the stand was the Danfoss compressor family, which included “Performer” and “Scrolltech” scroll compressors, reciprocating compressors and the new unique low noise, high efficiency range known as the GEEP™ compressor range.  Displayed amongst the industrial refrigeration product range, was the innovative ICF solution, an extension of the ICV industrial control valve platform, for which Danfoss was honoured with the AHR Exposition’s Innovation Award.

A touch screen computer, with a number of refrigeration training programs installed, was located in the middle of the stand where visitors could “test their refrigeration knowledge”; this, together with a range of “new” products presented in a large double sided glass display case attracted a large amount of interest from the many visitors to the stand.
ARBS (Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Building Services), a bi-annual exhibition held in Melbourne and Sydney, provides a great opportunity to showcase Danfoss products, meet with existing customers and speak to potential customers in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry; with ARBS2008 being no exception.
