Danfoss Australia enters strategic alliance with Automation Direct Pty Ltd It is clear that one of the most rapidly growing areas of the industrial control is in the demand for low power compact products at practical prices. This phenomena highlights the need for a major global AC drives supplier, such as Danfoss, to considerer how they could continue to offer industry best technical and logistic support to this sector of the market, while at the same time delivering exceptional value for their customers. Danfoss Australia has clearly recognised that it was difficult for them to achieve the economic benefit they wanted with the release the new Danfoss VLT® MicroDrive range of AC drives. An extensive evaluation of the various distribution channels available that are capable of delivering exceptional support and delivery for their new Danfoss design and manufactured VLT® MicroDrive was undertaken. The current range from 0.18 kW to 7.5kw offers an extremely compact form factor manufactured by Danfoss with the expected quality and technology associated the a global leading manufacturer built in. Danfoss Australia looks forward to the AutomationDirect partnership, enabling unmatched levels of service and that will deliver high economic valve to our customers. This partnership allows the traditional resources of Danfoss Australia to focus on increasing their activities in support of the full range modular VS drives type VLT® FC100, 200 & 300 series which are available in the power ranges from 0.37kw to 1.2MW.
