Hatcher Appointed VP HVAC Sales at Danfoss Drives

Richard Hatcher has been named vice president HVAC Sales at Danfoss Drives. In this capacity, he will be responsible for all North American sales of HVAC&R variable frequency drive products.
Hatcher comes to Danfoss with over eight years’ experience with General Electric in a variety of capacities. During most of his time there, he had North American leadership responsibility for GE drive sales through 45 manufacturer’s reps in 47 states. Most recently Hatcher was the regional sales manager for Microwave Data Systems in the oil and gas market. Prior to that he was vice president with Champion Process, Inc., a company he co-founded in the engineered industrial equipment business supporting the chemical, oil and gas markets.
Hatcher holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. He currently lives in the Houston area and has an office in Danfoss Drives’ Milwaukee facility.
