Danfoss A/S Announces Top-Level Managerial Changes

Fausing will oversee three divisions; Staerk will become president of Danfoss Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Danfoss A/S, the Denmark-based parent company of Danfoss Inc. (U.S. and Canada), has announced several top-level managerial changes following the retirement of Hans Kirk, executive vice president and chief development officer.

Effective Jan. 1, 2008:
  • Kim Fausing will become executive vice president and chief operations officer, and join the Danfoss Executive Committee. He will assume responsibility for the company’s three product divisions: Danfoss Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Danfoss Heating and Danfoss Motion Controls. He was previously president of Danfoss Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
  • Kjeld Staerk will become president of Danfoss Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. He was president of the Danfoss Services Division.
  • Ole M. Daugbjerg will become chief reputation officer. He was previously chief of staff.
  • Roland Fritsch will become senior vice president of the Danfoss Services Division. He was senior vice president of Danfoss Global Business Services.
Kirk will remain a member of the Sauer-Danfoss board, chairman of the Danfoss Bionics A/S board, and vice chairman of the Bitten and Mads Clausen Foundation. He will also continue to be in charge of Danfoss Ventures until the Danfoss A/S Annual General Meeting on April 25, 2008.

As of Jan.1, 2008, the Danfoss Group’s Executive Committee will consist of Jorgen M. Clausen, chief executive officer; Niels B. Christiansen, vice chief executive officer; Kim Fausing, chief operations officer; and Frederik Lotz, chief financial officer.
