E-business saves customers time and money

The amount of commerce conducted on the Internet is growing by the week – and it’s no different at Danfoss. With two solutions available, Web Ordering or Direct Business Integration, there’s a method designed to suit you – whatever your business needs. And it’s right at your fingertips, 24/7.
Secure, fast and reliable
Danfoss Web Ordering gives our existing customers direct control of the entire ordering process, from identifying the right products to tracing deliveries. Plus, it’s easy to navigate and place orders – two reasons why Danfoss e-business is fast becoming a customer favourite. In Europe, over 50 percent of all our order lines are now managed electronically. In North America, our e-business has already grown 15 percent during 2008. And since going live in the second quarter of 2008, e-business now accounts for 25 percent of orders in the Asia Pacific region.
All customers need is a log-in code and they can access a range of user-friendly functions designed to make their daily operations easier, including:
A product search facility
A price and availability check
A track and trace function
Shopping baskets
So far, customer feedback has been very positive. One of our Italian e-business customers puts it like this: “The system is very intuitive and easy to operate. After placing the first order we could see how it improved our efficiency.”
Designed for high demand customers, the Direct Business Integration service links customers’ ordering systems directly with the Danfoss order handling system. Fully automated, the service automatically shares all transaction information, such as orders, confirmations, delivery notes and invoices. This cuts down administration time and costs for customers, and Danfoss.
But our e-business service doesn’t stop here. We’re currently developing new tools and functionalities based on the latest IT technology so our e-business solutions remain flexible, secure and fast.
