High performance and great choice
UL508 recognition means that Danfoss MBS pressure transmitters will now display the UL logo for both the US and Canada. Even though UL recognition is not mandatory for the low-voltage transmitters, it is a clear indication that the products meet, and often exceed, standard safety requirements.
“We appreciate the importance of UL508 recognition to the North American market and are very proud to have achieved the approval so quickly. It bears witness to the inherent quality and reliability of the Danfoss product range,” says Rob Allaker, Business Development Manager.
Danfoss has a number of transmitter ranges, so customers can select the best solution for each project. This choice – coupled with UL approval and customer focus – is already proving a hit in the US. By March of this year, Danfoss had already exceeded its total transmitter sales in 2006. Rob Allaker puts the success down to “listening to what our partners want, and taking action to fulfil their needs”.
With pressure ranges of from 0 to 87 psig (0-6 bar) to 0 to 31,900 psig (0-2200 bar), the MBS 1200 and MBS 1250 series are ideal for many applications, from off-highway hydraulics and industrial automation to compressor and engine control.
The MBS1200 incorporates the very latest thin film technology, with long-term high-temperature stability. ASIC signal conditioning provides extremely high accuracy over a wide range of pressures, already proven in Europe. And the ASIC dual signal path offers exceptional flexibility to suit varying customer requirements.
