Cucinelli Appointed VP of Operations at Danfoss Turbocor Compressors

Edward Cucinelli has been named Vice President of Operations for Danfoss Turbocor Compressors, Inc., effective October 5, 2011.

In his new role, Cucinelli will lead the Danfoss Turbocor’s 150-person Operations department in supporting continuous growth, executing the 3-year business plan, maintaining a “zero defect” culture and developing a high performance organization.

Cucinelli has an extensive background in operations management and previously served as Vice President of Operations for several different divisions of Invensys/Sensus Metering Systems, a global water management product manufacturer. Cucinelli has also worked in international manufacturing operations and has served as a leader of high performance multinational teams.

“Ed’s leadership and extensive operations experience will help our teams to accelerate improvements to become a world class compressor manufacturer,” said Ricardo Schneider, President and CEO of Danfoss Turbocor.

As a 6 Sigma Black Belt and Lean Champion, Cucinelli has a deep understanding of quality systems and continuous improvement tool box. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Central Florida, with an MBA from Crummer Graduate School of Business.
