Danfoss wins AHR Product of the Year Award

AHR Expo 2009 - Danfoss

Accomplishing what no other company in our industry has done, Danfoss was honored not only with AHR Exposition Innovation Awards for Cooling and for Refrigeration; but also received the Exposition’s Product of the Year Award for 2009. The awards were presented on January 27 in the Technology Theater at the Exposition in Chicago.

In the Cooling category, the Innovation Award was given for the Performer^® VSH variable speed scroll compressor. In the Refrigeration category, the Jury recognized the AKD 102 variable capacity drive for supermarket applications as Innovation Award winner.

Of more than 150 entries considered for Innovation Awards, the Apexx VSH was chosen as Product of the Year. This is a great honor for a great product and a great development team.

The Danfoss display at the Exposition featured new products in Air Conditioning, Heating, Drives, and Refrigeration. On Tuesday, key products and business news were presented at our annual breakfast for the trade press. The editors present and visitors to the booth as well showed interest in the wide array of Danfoss products, services, and solutions.
