| The Danfoss AKC 55 controls and monitors refrigeration, lighting, and HVAC. Advanced hardware and software, developed by the world leader in refrigeration controls, are integrated to provide the most sophisticated control strategies and flexibility.
A single AKC 55 can control up to five suction groups, each with up to eight compressors with unloaders and a dedicated condenser with up to twelve fans. The AKC 55 can also control case circuits using input/output boards on an Echelon data communication bus.
HVAC and lighting can also controlled by an AKC 55, up to a maximum of thirty-two devices, including air handlers and rooftop units, with multiple stages of heating and cooling, heat reclaim, dehumidification, dampers, and variable speed fans.
The AKC 55 system allows a variety of HVAC control strategies, plus including, pre- and post-delays, minimum on and off times, and for stores divided into several zones, sensor averaging. Store humidity can be controlled using either a relative humidity sensor or a dew point sensor.
Up to 30 lighting zones, each having up to eight standard or relative schedules, and up to 40 user-defined logic statements are supported in the AKC 55.
