ISO 14001 - Product Recycling
The Danfoss Corporation advocates a high regard for protection of the global environment. Danfoss operations in North America are registered to ISO 14001, the international standard for environmental management. The Danfoss environmental management system considers potential impacts to the environment during all phases of product life including materials procurement, manufacturing, product use and the eventual disposal of the product.
Danfoss urges customers to reduce contributions to landfills by responsibly recycling when disposing of products or components. Danfoss provides dismantling instructions and material content lists as a guide for recycling. Contact the Danfoss service organization for appropriate instructions.
Danfoss will also accept returned products or product components for recycling. Contact the Danfoss Service organization for a return authorization. For a minimum handling fee, Danfoss will arrange for proper disposal.
