High Power Drive Center

High Power Drive Center

Beginning in 1992, Danfoss Drives in Loves Park, IL, USA, has served as the global headquarters for all VLT Series drives from 60 HP (45 kW), and today supplies units up to 600 HP (415 kW) for the global Danfoss market.

This facility offers:
  • Industry leading design and manufacturing capabilities
  • Expert, market-specific resources in applications, customer support and engineering
  • Comprehensive sales and service network for local availability and technical support worldwide

Today’s digital-generation VLT Series units continue a thirty-five year history of the world ’s first mass-produced adjustable frequency drive that began with our original oil-cooled design in 1968. Years of innovation and dedication to the highest quality standards have enabled the VLT Series to maintain its leadership position. Currently, the VLT Series of drives are among the most specified on the market, with more than 300,000 units produced each year.
