Significant influence is the power to participate in the financial and operating policy decisions of the company but is not control over those policies.

Danfoss Universe

Getting smart – naturally. Danfoss Universe is a science and adventure park full of inspiring technology, exciting machines and fun activities. The park is based in Nordborg in southwest Denmark right next to Danfoss headquarters. Here the whole family can spend an entertaining day enjoying and learning about the wonderful world of science. The activities in the park are based on refrigeration, heat, and movement and are an entertaining version of the techniques used in the production at Danfoss. The purpose of the park is to spur on children’s and young people’s enthusiasm and interest in technology and science. Danfoss Universe is owned by The Bitten and Mads Clausen Foundation.

Danfoss Semco A/S Fire Protection

Danfoss Semco A/S Fire Protection took over the Semco Maritime A/S fire division on January 1, 2006. Semco Maritime A/S is a subsidiary, 100% owned by CW Obel A/S. CW Obel A/S now owns 40% of the capital in the new company and Danfoss owns 60%.
The Semco Maritime fire division obtained significant expertise in the design and installation of automatic systems for firefighting using CO2, foam and water mist, particularly within the maritime and offshore sectors. Danfoss, on the other hand, has for many years supplied the key components for Semco's water mist systems, especially high-pressure pumps, nozzles and valves.

The Danfoss Semco A/S headquarters are in Odense, Denmark, with departments in Hvidovre, Nordborg and Ålborg, Denmark.

Danfoss Tantalum Technologies

Danfoss Tantalum Technologies was established as a job coater of tantalum coatings in 1996 and since then have been servicing the market with innovative tantalum solutions for technical and medical use. Today Danfoss offer the most comprehensive tantalum program on the market including tantalum metal, tantalum composites and tantalum coating. Danfoss Tantalum Technologies works as a developer as well as subcontractor within tantalum solutions produced according the highest production standards including ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. Danfoss Tantalum Technologies is owned by Danfoss A/S, which employs 17,000 people world wide and have an annual sales turnover of approx. 2 billion EUR.
