LEGOLAND River Splash

VLT® drives control energy consumption at LEGOLAND®

After installing VLT® frequency converters, LEGOLAND® has reduced the energy consumption of the Vikings River Splash ride by 190,000 kWh per season.

The Vikings River Splash is popular in LEGOLAND®. It also consumes more energy than nearly everything else in the amusement park.

After installing two 132 kW, VLT® 6172 frequency converters to control the pumps that ensure a stable and reliable flow of water, the attraction's energy consumption has dropped from 440,000 to 250,000 kWh per season.

At the same time LEGOLAND® the park has been able to increase the number of boats they can send off filled with fun seeking guests.
