One of the CO2 challenges is sudden superheat change, especially in evaporators not fully adapted for CO2. It requires a very fast reaction from the controller. AK-CC 550A electronic controller includes an algorithm for this specific purpose.
Another CO2 challenge is high pressure at standstill position and in some cases high differential pressure over expansion valves for high temperature cases. AKVH valves copes with both tasks.
