Chinese Coca-Cola bottle manufacturer goes for IP66 VLT® drives

inMotion - The VLT® newsletter 1 The Coca-Cola bottle manufacturer (Wu Han) Co., Ltd in China needed a frequency convertor that can be installed in the field, can bear high temperature, can endure frequent wash-down - and that is reliable.

The big global OEM that delivered the machine to the bottle manufacturer, chose VLT® IP66 drives because these drives fulfill the requirements mentioned above - and because it withstands ambient temperatures up to 50o C - and offers a warrenty period of 24 months.



Most of the drives supplied are VLT® AutomationDrive series in the power range from 7.5 kW to 22 kW. Generally, two to five units are used in each machine. Danfoss’ global presence also supported the decision to choose Danfoss Drives.
 
Both the end-user and the OEM are familiar with VLT® drives and benefits from the capability to control the application with the drive mounted close to the application.
