High-Pressure Control for Smaller Systems
Non-toxic, non-flammable and non-ozone depleting, CO2 has high volumetric capacity, making it an ideal medium for refrigeration processes. With over 1500 transcritical installations currently in operation around the world, Danfoss is recognised as a leading supplier of reliable, quality components for CO2 refrigeration systems. And now, Danfoss has made this technology easily accessible for smaller operators in the food retail industry.
The CCMT high-pressure valve is designed for smaller transcritical CO2 racks with a capacity up to around 100 kW. A cost-effective alternative to the ICMTS high-pressure expansion valve for large refrigeration systems, the CCMT valve functions as a high-pressure control valve or gas cooler control valve. It can also be used as a gas-bypass valve for intermediate/receiver control, or as an expansion and suction modulating valve in CO2 systems.
Safe and Easy to Use
Designed to work together with the pack controller, the CCMT’s clever cartridge design makes it easy to plug into the system. If dirt in the strainer or faulty wiring is an issue, the CCMT is easy to clean or replace, which helps keep system downtime to an absolute minimum. With a maximum working pressure of 140 bar, the CCMT is designed and tested to meet high safety standards. And the combi-connections give users the choice of either brazing or welding the valve in the application. Even more, it features a patented cone design, which makes the CCMT valve pressure stabile in the whole pressure range.
Made from rigid stainless steel, the CCMT meets EN 12284 safety design standards and is produced on TS 16949 compliant production facilities. The CCMT can also be used in heat pumps.
