At this year’s Chillventa exhibition Danfoss celebrates 75 years of innovation in king size exhibition stand packed with new solutions to the refrigeration and air conditioning industry’s challenges.

For more than 75 years, Danfoss, a worldwide leading producer of solutions for a wide range of industrial, commercial and household refrigeration and air conditioning applications, has pushed the boundaries of innovation. Since the company introduced its first thermostatic expansion valve in 1933, Danfoss has constantly sought to improve the lives of people by developing high quality, energy-saving products.
At this year’s Chillventa Exhibition, that takes place in Nuremberg on 15-17 October visitors will be treated to a more than 500m2 large stand filled to the brim with innovative, efficient and energy saving products and integrated solutions, for example

  • Corrosion free sight glasses that function up to 46 bar
  • Laser welded, stainless steel thermostatic expansion valves

In a special recreational corner sports fanatics can challenge each other to an X-Box ice hockey match and win special prizes.

Continuing a History of Innovation

When engineer Mads Clausen had his first working expansion valve for refrigeration systems ready in 1932, it was called Danfoss: Dan- because it was Danish; and -foss because the sound of the valve reminded him of the sound of a stream of water.
