Henrik Schurmann – Vice President
On January 1, 2008, Henrik Schurmann will become Vice President of RA Global Marketing, where he currently has the role of Senior Director.
Henrik Schurmann holds an M.Sc. in International Business Economics from Aalborg University, Denmark. He joined Danfoss in 1998 as a PRP (Danfoss Post-graduate Programme), and went on to work in sales, procurement, and production, where he was Business Development Director in Danfoss Automatic Controls.
Kenneth Bjerregaard – Vice President
On February 1, 2008, Kenneth Bjerregaard will join Danfoss as Vice President for RA Global Logistics.
In his new role, Kenneth Bjerregaard will be responsible for ensuring that the logistic functions have the right support in all RA Business Units and Areas. His responsibilities will also include the ongoing development of logistic processes and systems.
Kenneth Bjerregaard holds an M.Sc. in Production Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, as well as a degree in Logistics Technology from the Danish Technological Institute. In the past, Kenneth Bjerregaard has worked for Martin Professional A/S and LEGO System A/S.
Torben Funder-Kristensen – Vice President
On January 1, 2008, Torben Funder-Kristensen will begin a new role as Vice President for the Global Product Development and Front End Process for Automatic Controls, where he is currently Senior Director.
Torben Funder-Kristensen started working for Danfoss in 1995 as a consultant within joining processes. In 1997, he became Manager of the Technology Centre. In 2000, Torben Funder-Kristensen joined the former RC division as Global R&D Director; since 2006 his title has been Global R&D Senior Director for Danfoss Automatic Controls. Torben Funder-Kristensen holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering.
Jürgen Süss – Vice President
On January 1, 2008, Jürgen Süss will become Vice President, Advanced Engineering & Technology, focusing on the technological development of the RA Division. Jürgen Süss holds a Ph.D. in refrigeration and compressor technologies and joined Danfoss in September 1998 from the “Institut für Kältetechnik” University of Hannover, Germany.
