Danfoss components chosen for South Africa’s bakeries

With Danfoss’ proven technology and track record, Jerry Voloch from Jvtronic Supplies (PTY) Ltd chose Danfoss products as part of the solution for his bakery customer. As Danfoss products work together to give measurable and instant changes to a business, Jerry was confident the installation would produce great results.

The customer’s project requirements were extensive and included:

  • a fully automated bakery with no human handling until items are bagged
  • synchronised timing of processes for optimum production
  • reduced labour requirements and costs
  • increased capacity up to 2,850 loaves per hour
The range of Danfoss components used included: contactors, soft starters, overloaders, timers and frequency converters. The installation was a success, and resulted in improved hygiene, cost efficiency in time and materials, and increased production for the bakery.
