Weak snakes need to stay warm so a floor with heating cables from Danfoss DEVI was just the thing for Ryan Jenkins’ snake hospital in the Kwatulu Natal province in South Africa.
Ryan, who finances the hospital himself, has set it up at his home, with glass cages and an outdoor ”play pen” for the largest snakes. After seeing his enthusiasm – and a South African
rock python measuring more than five metres – market manager Claus Jakobsen and the local distributor decided to donate a heating system to the hospital.
