living connect® brings the radiator thermostat into the digital age, offering precise and easy digital control of home heating. Features like wireless communication make it possible to control all home radiator thermostats at the same time via a single Danfoss Link control panel. The digital indicator on the front of each thermostat displays an exact desired room temperature, making it easier to optimize comfort.
Optimal indoor temperature any time, day or night
”Studies show that the optimal sleeping temperature in a bedroom is 17 degrees Celsius , whereas the most comfortable temperature for relaxing, learning or working is 21 degrees. Until now it has required a lot of work to achieve these temperatures at any given time,” says Torben Nielsen from Danfoss.
”With living connect®, it’s now possible from one controller to ensure the heat is turned down during the day when the home is empty, that it comes up again in the evening and that it drops to 17 degrees again in the bedrooms during night times.”
Smarter technology means lower heating costs
According to a European study*, upgrading an older radiator thermostat to a living connect® radiator thermostat can reduce heating consumption by 23 %. If the radiator valves are manually controlled today, the savings jumps to 46%.
”These new thermostats are full of innovative functions like open window sensors that automatically turn down the heat when you open the window. In this way you can truly optimize energy efficiency and cost,” says Torben Nielsen from Danfoss.
”Radiator thermostats are one of the most important factors for a home’s energy efficiency, and now with the new digital capabilities the thermostat has gone from being something functional and mechanical to truly being an intelligent home technology. It can help regulate and optimize conditions at all times.”
living connect® is the smallest radiator thermostat on the market and its elegant, sleek design has been recognized with the 2010 red dot design award.
The living connect® thermostat is part of the living by Danfoss series of products that also comprise living eco® and living design®.
