Two systems in one with the updated EFIT™ 850 thermostat

One for all…

With the new improved EFIT™850 you can control ice and snow melting in more areas at the same time using only a single thermostat.

You can integrate four separate sensors, in two zones, keeping your roof and gutters plus your pavement and road free of ice and snow – all at the same time!

We have provided the improved version with a zoning function so that for instance south and north facing areas can be controlled as individual systems. We have done this to save you energy since snow in south facing areas melt more quickly due to the warmth of the sun.

You can also give priorities to the zones so that the ice and snow in one zone melt before the next. You will benefit from this feature if you have to allow for limited power output – and you can add new zones as you expand the system.
