All the machines use Danfoss parts, from electronic components, such as VLT® frequency coverters, refrigeration controls and Maneurop and Bock compressors, all for the ultimate refrigeration performance.
"Danfoss has strengthened the Bertollo business through technical partnership for development of new projects, says Antonio Valter Bertollo, the company’s director. "They have worked with us on approval field tests, and make constant technical visits to our factory," adds Antonio Valter.

In addition to helping to create efficient products and providing technological consultation, Danfoss has initiated other projects to promote Bertollo. Danfoss has put a soft-serve ice cream machine in the Danfoss booth at the Agrishow, an annual trade show in Brazil attended by more than 100,000 people. The event is held in the summer and often temperatures get very high. The ice cream is always a success, with a lot of visitor interest, which raises the profile of both companies.
Recently Bertollo relocated to a new 5,000-square-meter headquarter facility, increasing its inventory capacity, as it expands internationally. "We are selling throughout South America and creating partnerships with African countries through sales representatives who also provide technical assistance, which is fundamental in our business," adds Antonio Valter.
