Help Team Rynkeby raise money for the Child Cancer Foundation

Team Rynkeby is a yearly Danish charity event with cycling teams riding from Denmark to Paris to raise money for the Child Cancer Foundation in Denmark and Sweden.

This year Team Rynkeby consists of 11 cycling teams from Denmark and 2 teams from Sweden, 584 cyclists and 139 helpers in total.

The Team Rynkeby from Sonderborg in Denmark is sponsored by Danfoss VLT Drives.

On July 16, the 13 cycling teams set off for their 1200 km ride from Denmark to Paris. The distance will be covered in 7 stages, leading the teams through Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and France.

On July 22, the 584 cyclists arrive at the Champs Elysees, two days before the arrival of the Tour de France on July 24.

In 2010 Team Rynkeby managed to collect an amazing 4.72 million DKK (889,000 USD) for the Child Cancer Foundation. This year they are of course aiming for an even better result.
