Committed to protecting the environment
Danfoss is committed to protecting the environment by offering state-of-the-art energy-saving solutions; and used this event to present our comfort control valves, frequency converters and floor heating systems to the Indian government, industry and the public.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Indian Minister of Finance, who visited the Danfoss stand along with the Minister of State – Environment and Forests, and several industry representatives. Other high-profile visitors to the event were ministers from Afghanistan, China, Iraq, Japan, Kenya, Nepal, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Singapore, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
The Government of India and the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs jointly organised the climate change event in order to promote international technology development and transfer in the context of the Bali Action Plan for enhancement of long-term cooperation for implementation of the UNFCCC. Also to help pave the way for a successful outcome of the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen Denmark, in December this year, the Delhi conference and exhibition sought to advance understanding of key actions needed to accelerate technology development and transfer in all countries in accordance with their national needs.
