Danfoss awarded for its Variable Capacity Drive for Refrigeration

Danfosshas won the 2009 AHR Expo Innovation Award Competition. The award is given on behalf of the AHR Expo and its co-sponsors, ASHRAE and AHRI. A panel of Industry Professionals, selected for their knowledge and expertise in HVACR, found the ADAP-KOOL Drive AKD 102 to be worthy of this honor.

The ADAP-KOOL Drive is awarded as the first variable capacity drive with refrigeration terms for refrigeration technicians rather than computer electronics people. A setup "Wizard" and on line manual also simplify work for OEM, installer, and commissioning and service technicians.

The new Grolsch brewery just outside Enschede is a surprising combination of tradition and innovation.
