Claus Bo Jacobsen comes from a position as CEO and Senior Vice President of Berner A/S, Nordic Region. He will replace Henning Davidsen, who assumed the role of temporary manager of Danfoss Heat Pumps in March of this year, when Carsten L. Sørensen resigned as Senior Vice President. Claus Bo Jacobsen will assume leadership of Heat Pumps during October.
Claus Bo Jacobsen, aged 48, has held a number of management positions in Nestlé, Oxford Bisquits, Carlsberg and LMG Lemvigh-Müller, among others. He has an MSc in strategic planning and economics from the Copenhagen Business School and during his career he has worked intensively with Sales and Marketing.
Claus Bo Jacobsen will be based in Vejle, Denmark, and report to Divisional President Nis Storgaard. He will be a member of the Heating Division’s Executive Team.
Henning Davidsen, who has helped create a solid basis for the further development of Heat Pumps, turns 65 in November and will continue working for the rest of the year as special advisor to the Heating Division with report to Nis Storgaard.
Danfoss Heat Pumps is a leading player in the European heat pump market which currently experiences rapid growth due to the increased focus on energy savings. Heat pumps utilize solar energy stored in e.g. the underground or the outdoor air and produce green and low cost heating for hydronic heating systems in buildings.
