Successful launch of Danfoss’ new air source heat pump in UK

In the end of July over 60 installers and guests attended a special event held in Sheffield to mark the launch of the new DHP-AQ heat pump from Danfoss.

The new heat pump is the quietest ever produced and at the same time the seasonal energy efficiency ratio is up to 37 per cent better than that of the nearest competitors. The heat pump, that provides heat efficiently even when the temperature falls to -20 degrees, was extremely well received by the installers.

After having been presented to the new pump, the guests were invited to take a short trip across Sheffield to view a working DHP-AQ that provides the source of the heating at Danfoss Heat Pumps’ head office and training centre.

Chris Dale, Director of Danfoss Heat Pumps, explains: “This successful event support the high expectations we have to the new generation of Danfoss air source heat pumps. Our new pump has been extremely well received in the market. Sales of the new DHP-AQ are increasing day by day and in UK alone we expect to raise sales by 25 percent in the next season and I am confident that these new products will boost our market share in the heat pump market over the coming years.”
