The new generation VLT® frequency drives

After Danfoss Drives released the new VLT AutomationDrive and VLT HVAC Drive some time ago, the range of new generation VLT frequency drives is now complete with the release of the VLT AQUA Drive and VLT Micro Drive. 

With these new drives Danfoss is now able to provide a solution for all applications in the power range from 0,18 to 1200 kW. These drives combine the best possible quality and reliability with an unsurpassed userfriendliness and functionality.

The best solution for all applications

The new generation Danfoss VLT frequency drives are made up of  

  • VLT AutomationDrive - for general industrial applications in the power range of 0,25 kW to 1,2 MW   
     
  • VLT HVAC Drive - for climate control applications in the power range of 1,1 kW to 1,2 MW 
     
  • VLT AQUA Drive - for water and wastewater applications in the power range of 0,25 kW to 1,2 MW   
     
  • VLT Micro Drive - the low power drive for 1 and 3 phase OEM applications in the power range of 0,18 to 7,5 kW  

Although all new drives are equipped with lots of very powerful functions and options, one of the major advantages is their unsurpassed efficiency. This means that almost no power is lost while at the same time mechanical ventilation can be reduced to a minimum. Together with numerous functions to save energy, this makes the new VLT drives the most environmental friendly drives available on the market at this moment.  

The new VLT frequency drives are all based on the same new modular control and power platform developed by Danfoss Drives. This makes it possible to easily exchange parts and options between the different drives. And because they all make use of the same userfriendly user interface with the same parameter structure, you only need to be familiar with one model to be able to use them all. Making them very easy to install, configure and operate.
