The new generation Danfoss VLT frequency drives is formed by
- VLT AutomationDrive - for general industrial applications in the powerrange of 0,25 to 1200 kW
- VLT HVAC Drive - for climat control applications in the powerrange of 1,1 to 450 kW
- VLT AQUA Drive - for water and wastewater applications in the powerrange of 0,25 to 1200 kW
- VLT Micro Drive - the low-power drive for 1- and 3-phase OEM applications in the powerrange of 0,18 to 7,5 kW
Although all new drives are equiped with lots of very powerfull functions and options, one of the major advantages is their unsurpassed efficiency. This means that almost no power is lost while at the same time mechanical ventilation can be reduced to a minimum. Together with numerous functions to save energy, this makes the new VLT drives to be the most environmental friendly drives available on the market at this moment.
The new VLT frequency drives are all based on the same new modular control- and powerplatform developed by Danfoss Drives. This makes it possible to easily exchange parts and options between the different drives. And because they all make use of the same userfriendly user-interface with the same parameter structure, you only need to be familiar with one model to be able to use them all. Making them very easy to install, configure and operate.
