Danfoss Saginomiya Sp. z o.o is a joint venture in Poland, which is equally owned by Saginomiya Seisakusho, Inc., and Danfoss A/S. Danfoss Saginomiya Sp. z o.o. is responsible for distribution of Saginomiya’s refrigeration and air conditioning controls program to the European market. In addition to this, the company manufactures and distributes cartridge controls (disc type small pressure controls) for the air conditioning industry in Europe on the basis of a license from Saginomiya.

Danfoss Turbocor Compressors Inc.

Danfoss Turbocor Compressors Inc., based in Montreal, Canada, is a joint venture company equally owned by Danfoss and Turbocor Inc. Danfoss Turbocor Compressors Inc. provides the HVAC market with the industry’s first highly efficient, oil-free centrifugal compressors designed to minimize both energy and maintenance costs. The primary focus is on mid-range chiller, split system and rooftop applications for both new and retrofit applications. The new company combines worldwide expertise and resources of Danfoss with award winning* oil-free technology developed by Turbocor.

The new intelligent VLT® Soft Starter MCD 500

The Danfoss VLT Soft Starter MCD 500 is a new soft starter in the power range from 7.5 to 800 kW (21 - 1600 A) with sofisticated start- and stopfunctions. 

New in the MCD 500 is the Adaptive Acceleration Control (AAC) function. This function developed by Danfoss adds intelligence to the soft starter. By continuously measuring the motor current and calculating the actual load, the MCD 500 fully automatically adjusts the start and stop profiles to obtain the best possible acceleration and decelaration for your application
