Calculations from Agrotech, the Danish Institute for Agri Technology and Food Innovation, have shown that a 50,000 m2 greenery can save as much as 20% on the energy costs and increase yield by 10% by monitoring and controlling the climate and growth parameters CO2, temperature and humidity between the plants.
The climate between the plants is crucial to the growth and photosynthesis of the plants, but the data collection with hitherto known sensor technologies is challenging due to humidity, risk of water spray and fertilizer.
Our sensor can be placed on the table between the plants. It operates independently of power sources by solar or battery power and communicates wirelessly with the climate control system.
