Company History
Danfoss IXA A/S is a privately owned company that has Danfoss Ventures and Bitten and Mads Clausens foundation as majority shareholders. Danfoss IXA A/S was spun out of the Danfoss Group as of April 1, 2009.
CTO Jens Møller Jensen is the inventor of the patented sensor technology and filed the first global patent for the sensor in 2005.
The organization consists of a highly specialized research and development team with competences within electrical engineering, software, MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems), Sensors/Micro sensors, thermal and thermoelectric devices, thin film technology, Semiconductor and MEMS fabrication processes and packaging technologies, physics and photonics.
