Compressor

Variable speed control of a compressor offers the ability to match the capacity to the actual need based on measure-ments in the system. Costs are reduced both through
energy savings when running at lower speed, but also through lower installation costs caused by optimisation of the system and the compressor itself.

VLT® drives are designed to offer flexible, intelligent control of scroll, screw, piston and centrifugal compressors.
VLT® drives optimise control of compressors, reduce energy consumption and provide constant pressure regulation.

Fewer starts and stops will reduce mechanical wear, and speed control is attractive when an air compressor is running for long periods at partload.

Compressors benefit from dedicated features in VLT® drives. With the “skip resonance” function you easily identify for the drive which frequencies to pass to avoid frequency noise and damage.

VLT® soft starters, high-power drives, AHF harmonic filters with built-in cascade controller option, DC coils, and PID controllers are applied.

Danfoss introduceert de nieuwe VLT Low Harmonic Drives

Waar andere technieken voor het onderdrukken van harmonischen afhankelijk zijn van een stabiele belasting of effect hebben op de aangesloten motor, zorgen de nieuwe VLT Low Harmonic Drives van Danfoss voor een optimale onderdrukking van harmonischen onafhankelijk van de belasting en zonder de prestaties van de motor te beinvloeden.

De VLT Low Harmonic Drives voldoen aan de strengste eisen op het gebied van harmonischen en voorzien in een complete grafische weergave van de prestaties van de regelaar en van het gedrag van het net.

De VLT Low Harmonic Drives zijn leverbaar in het vermogensbereik van 160-710 kW (380-460V), in een IP21 en een IP54 uitvoering.
