Upon the rooftops of the Michelin Tires facility in Valladolid, Spain sits a complex array of 46,360 cadmium telluride photovoltaic modules controlled by 240 Danfoss TripleLynx three-phase inverters; comprising one of the largest rooftop installations in Europe. Approximately €11 million has been invested in the PV array, which has a surface area of approximately 44,000m2.
The installation has an annual production of three megawatts.
