In A Follow-up to Photon Profi Best-In-Class Selection, Danfoss Solar Inverters A/S Upgrades to LynxPlanner 1.1

28 July 2011
LV-Ready CosPhi, Faster Speed, Multiple Roof Layout & Additional Advanced Features Further Increase Customer Benefit in Residential, Commercial and Large Power Plant Designs
New Version, New Features
Not allowing for any opportunity to be surpassed, Danfoss Solar Inverters A/S announced the release of its latest version of the Photon Profi award winning LynxPlanner.

With an even more robust set of features, the Danfoss LynxPlanner 1.1 is now available for download at  www.danfoss.com/solar.

Automatic Upgrade, Free New User
Those who already have installed the original version of the LynxPlanner software will automatically receive an optional upgrade notification. This upgraded version is of course free of charge to existing customers and new users.

“The LynxPlanner 1.1 version brings an even wider range of dynamic features to what was widely considered a very good design tool” said Torben Ringe Head of International Technical Sales Support. “As standards and requirements continue to develop, our team remains determined to meet the needs of our customers” Ringe continued.

LV Compliance
Newly added CosPhi features keep the Lynx Planner 1.1, along with our ULX & TLX inverter lines, in step with German LV Compliance.

And as site builds become more complex, the ability to construct a build on multiple roofs can save both time and money. Several rooftops, particularly in regions with varying climate conditions, often have angles facing numerous navigational directions. The LynxPlanner 1.1 can configure a layout to accommodate these layout challenges.

Asymmetrical Design
And with the TLX series, (both symmetrical and) asymmetrical design can be achieved by connecting one TLX to a multiple roof layout, thereby linking individual strings of modules to the MPP tracking system. Differing DC power levels can also be assigned to each MPP tracker. All string layout information can then be easily displayed in one convenient printable report.

The graphical user interface also computes location and weather data via a geographical map, while the even faster speed helps get the job done in a timely fashion.

“We feel confident that the updated Lynx Planner 1.1 will again raise the bar on PV site planning,” Ringe concluded.
