Coils for steam valves

The three steam valve types described can be combined with three different coils - making the program flexible and to ensure high performance.
Danfoss offers temperature ranges 140°C, 160°C and 185°C. That gives you the opportunity of selecting valves based on your technical system requirements. 
All available coils are clip on coils and have coil enclosure IP65.
BQ steam coil from Danfoss

Standard steam coils

BQ steam coil - AC voltage:
Black coil, made in polymer material: Polyester - Pocan with graphite.
Suitable for up to 185°C steam. 
Maximum ambient temperature is 40°C.

BN steam coil - DC voltage:
Blue coil, made in polymer material: Polyester - Pocan
Suitable for up to 160°C steam.
Maximum ambient temperature is 40°C.
BB coil from Danfoss

Standard coils for lower steam temperatures

Standard blue high performance coils for lower steam temperature applications. BB coils are in polymer material: Polyester - Pocan

BB coil - AC voltage:
Blue coil, suitable for up to 160°C steam
Maximum ambient temperature is 40°C.

BB coil - DC voltage:
Blue coil, suitable for up to 140°C steam.
Maximum ambient temperature is 50°C.
BT UL listed coil from Danfoss

UL listed coils

UL listed coils for UL approved valves with NPT connection.
Material:Polyester - Pocan 

BT coil:
White coil with junction box Suitable for up to 185°C.

BU coil:
White coil with conduit hub. Suitable for up to 185°C.
