With Danfoss, the show will go on
With 93 days of shows, displays and performances, the Spanish EXPO Zaragoza 2008 is the largest water festival in the world. Ojalá Entertainment, a world-renowned Argentinean cutting edge performance group, was invited to stage one of the event’s three key shows to run six times a day throughout the EXPO. But they needed Danfoss’ help to perfect their act.
With their spectacular, acrobatic-like shows, Ojalá Entertainment bring together a number of artistic disciplines – and the show they’d planned for the EXPO featured large quantities of water. But they had a valve problem. The water, which was supposed to flow in high pressure jets across the stage from the artist’s hands, just wasn’t flowing fast enough. So the show’s technical manager, Ariel Rodriquez, asked Danfoss’ office in Argentina to help them solve the problem.
As it turned out, Ojalá Entertainment weren’t only looking for a new solenoid valve, they also needed a company with a global presence – and one with offices in Spain. If anything went wrong, they wanted a local supplier on hand.
So Danfoss Argentina contacted the Danfoss Sales Manager in Spain and Portugal, who quickly sent off a list of suppliers in Zaragoza to his Argentinean colleagues.
Equipped with the EV250B solenoid valve, and with the backup of Danfoss technical support, Olajá Entertainment has now been impressing audiences at the EXPO for the last three months.
Danfoss’ global presence, high performance products and great technical support prove a winning combination, again.
